Install Remotely PDFXChangeViewer
I received an email to install this PDF Editor on three PCs today and decided to try install it without user intervention.
0. There is already prepared wsman and powershell remote on every workstation in our domain
1. I’ve connected to desired PC using powershell_ise and New remote PowerShell Tab…
2. Copied the needed PDFXVwer.exe from my PC to Desired (C:\) using Copy-Item cmdlet
3. Executed the following command
C:\PDFXVwer.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /DIR="C:\Program Files\PDFXChangeViewer" /GROUP="XchangeViewer" /COMPONENTS="pdfviewer"
4. Removed C:\PDFXVwer.exe from users’ PCs
5. Informed the users to use the link from their Desktop
